Devotions in Exodus 14:13
"Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today."
This is a good word for me today because I was expecting a financial blessing and found out that I am not getting the $160 back in a double payment I had made that I expected. It made me lash out at my daughter because I suddenly felt the ground was less firm and that I wouldn't be able to stand. When I am frightened I am rude. Please help me to have faith Lord and stand firm so that I can be kind and love. Please forgive me. God please provide for us! Thank you!
19 Then the angel of God, who had been traveling in front of Israel's army, withdrew and went behind them. The pillar of cloud also moved from in front and stood behind them, 20 coming between the armies of Egypt and Israel. Throughout the night the cloud brought darkness to the one side and light to the other side; so neither went near the other all night long.
 21 Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the LORD drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided, 22 and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left.
Exodus 15
2 The LORD is my strength and my song;
       he has become my salvation.
       He is my God, and I will praise him,
       my father's God, and I will exalt him.
 3 The LORD is a warrior;
       the LORD is his name.
 6 "Your right hand, O LORD,
       was majestic in power.
       Your right hand, O LORD,
       shattered the enemy.
 13 "In your unfailing love you will lead
       the people you have redeemed.
       In your strength you will guide them
       to your holy dwelling.
 17 You will bring them in and plant them
       on the mountain of your inheritance—
       the place, O LORD, you made for your dwelling,
       the sanctuary, O Lord, your hands established.
 18 The LORD will reign
       for ever and ever."
Acts 2
25" 'I saw the Lord always before me.
      Because he is at my right hand,
      I will not be shaken.
 26Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;
      my body also will live in hope,
 27because you will not abandon me to the grave,
      nor will you let your Holy One see decay.

28You have made known to me the paths of life;
      you will fill me with joy in your presence.'[e]

40"Save yourselves from this corrupt generation."
