Retired firefighter is losing his home in 4 days

How can it be Lord.. that a man who gives his life to save others can be losing his home? Why Lord are the ones, who encourage the refinancing, winning, while my step dad stammers about trying to sell his car so he can afford a storage unit or an apartment to get his things out in time. Why must people lose their homes? Why must a man who poked his finger with a contaminated needle while doing his job get Hepatitis c and lose his liver.. why must he suffer monthly blood transfusions as a homeless man.. He gave his life saving people from fires and horrible wrecks.. why can't someone save him right now?? I have tried all week to sell his car.. not one bite that took... why God? Why have I not been successful in helping him..? why will no one buy his car so he can move his things before they lock the doors to his home and chain the gates to the property where the deer run.. Why God? God could you come in and humble my step dad.. could you get him on his knees for you Lord.. could you help him to realize that you are all he really needs.. Life isn't just about material things.. I know Lord that you will help those who humble themselves and call on You.. God may we all turn to you and be lifted up..
